How to Throw a Courtyard Party at Stable
Festoons on, Garden Bar open
Some venues are function rooms with the lights dimmed. Ours is an actual backyard — the lush green rear courtyard of Cornerstone Stores, strung with festoon lights against a red brick backdrop. If you're planning a birthday, an engagement, a Christmas party or a corporate do on the southern Gold Coast, here's how it works.
The space
The Stable Courtyard takes a minimum of 50 guests up to about 120 for a cocktail-style event. Lawn games on the grass, large outdoor umbrellas over the tables, and heaters for the cooler months — the weather plan is built in, not bolted on.
Food, done the Stable way
Cocktail and canapé is our format: passed canapés from the kitchen, generous grazing boards, and the same farm-fresh, plant-forward standards as our day menu. Dietary requirements are handled properly — vegan, vegetarian and gluten free guests get real options, not afterthoughts.
The Garden Bar
Signature cocktails (the margarita and limoncello spritz travel particularly well into the evening), a carefully selected boutique wine list, and craft beer on tap. We're fully licensed, so the bar is ours to run and yours to enjoy.
